Equestrian Takes Second At Home Show

NORWALK, Conn.- The Sacred Heart University Equestrian team placed second in its home-show this afternoon recording 30 points on the day. Local rival UCONN took first with 42 points. The Pioneers will return to action on Sunday, Nov. 17 when SHU competes at Hartford. Shows begin at 9:00 a.m.
The Pioneers took first in four events first in the Limit Fences Section A with junior Devon Cavaliere earning first on the day. In, Limit Fences Section B with freshman Lily Bove took the first-place ribbon as well as fellow freshman Alexis Setteducati taking first in the Limit Fences Section C. Freshman Joanna Coreno placed 1st in the Cross Rails which all contributed to the Pioneers top five finish.
