Box Score FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University baseball team fell to Stony Brook in its home opener, 8-1, Sunday afternoon. With the loss, the Pioneers drop to 6-15 on the season, while Stony Brook improves to 11-7 on the season.
Luke Hansen got the start and took the loss after surrendering three earned runs in 0.2 innings of work. Isiah Doubon led the SHU offense, going 2-for-3 in the loss, while Bobby Garbuio drove in the lone SHU run.
