Box Score BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University baseball team fell to Wagner at Veteran's Memorial Park, 5-4 Sunday afternoon. With the loss, the Pioneers drop to 10-19 and 5-4 in the NEC, while Wagner improves to 9-18 on the season and 5-4 in NEC-play.
Thomas Pinto got the start and took the loss after giving up three earned runs on four hits in 3.2 innings of work. Anthony Porrino led the SHU offense, going 2-for-4 with two RBI's. Danny Glendon went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a walk, while Elijah Brown went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and a stolen base.
