This is the teams first IHSA show victory of the year

NORWALK, Conn.- Riding into victory was the Sacred Heart University equestrian team as they claimed the High Point team title at its Intercollegiate Horse Show Association show Saturday.

Of Note

The Pioneers claimed High Point team of the day with 29 points.
Junior Mia Poppinga shined for the Pioneers claiming the Reserve High Point Rider honor with a first place finish in Intermediate Flat and a second place finish in Intermediate Fences.
Sophomore Alex Picard claimed first in Intermediate fences while first-year Emma Grimes earned her first collegiate show victory in Limit Fences Section C.
Fellow classmate Ava Flannery took first in Novice Flat while following right behind was Ciara O'Sullivan.
