NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Despite knotting the game 2-2 in the fourth quarter, the Sacred Heart University field hockey team couldn't hold of Yale in a 4-2 loss on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs tallied two in the second including off a penalty corner.
With two minutes remaining in the third,
Kelsey Fithen recorded her first-career goal off the stick of
Kayla Kruk. Kruk leads the team with two assists in her second year as co-captain.
Ally Frampton tallied her second-career goal off a penalty corner, with help from
Isabelle Chamberlain, to tie the game at two-all four minutes into the final quarter.
Yale capitalized on two more shots to take a 4-2 lead in the final seven minutes.

Samantha Maresca split time between the posts for a combined eight saves.
The Red & White remain on the road to take on LIU at 2 p.m. on Friday.
