FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University athletics department and TicketSmarter have announced an agreement to make TicketSmarter the official ticket resale partner of Pioneer Athletics.
As the official ticket resale marketplace for the Pioneers, TicketSmarter will gain marketing and sponsorship rights for SHU Athletics, and give Pioneer fans a safe, trusted platform to buy and sell tickets. Sacred Heart joins a growing list of colleges and universities in the U.S. partnering with TicketSmarter, including Princeton, Columbia, Bucknell, the Big South Conference and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
"We are excited to partner with Sacred Heart athletics as an extension of our strategy to develop strong, mutually beneficial relationships that provide Pioneer fans with an enhanced ticketing experience," said TicketSmarter CEO Jeff Goodman. Fans can purchase and sell tickets for any Sacred Heart football game at Campus Field as well as basketball games in the Pitt Center. TicketSmarter also provides SHU fans with access to tickets for concerts, sporting events, Broadway shows and more.
