Of Note:
Coming out of a timeout with 5:38 remaining in the first half, Binghamton erupted for a 14-0 run to take the lead at the end of the half, 33-28. The run trickled into the start of the second for a total of 18 unanswered points that SHU could not recover from.
The Pioneers grew cold in the second half shooting one-for-11 from behind the three-point line while the Bearcats were five-of-nine. Sacred Heart was able to round up 11 of its 32 points from the charity stripe in the second half, but it wasn't enough to compete with Binghamton's 60% shooting from the field (15-25) during the final 20 minutes.
