First 100+ point performance since 2019
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University men's basketball team rolled past Fisher on Tuesday night for its largest margin of victory in its Division I era, 109-49.

Fisher hung within two until the midway point in the first half when Tyler Thomas sparked a 19-4 run to give the Pioneers a double-digit lead that the falcons could not recover from.
Sacred Heart dominated on the glass, 70-24, including 24 offensive rebounds which led to 18 second-chance points. The Pioneers also posted 62 of their 109 points from the paint, compared to Fisher's 18.
The Pioneers showcased its best shooting performance thus far at 52.4% (44-84) and held the Falcons to 28.4% (19-67). The last time SHU shot over 50% was vs. Fairleigh Dickinson in January of 2020.
Sophomore Nico Galette posted a plethora of career-highs including points (18), rebounds (18), and assists (3) to go along with his first career double-double. The 6-6 forward also shot 50% from long-distance (2-4).
Thomas netted a season-high 26 points off 10-of-18 shooting. Thomas also pulled down six rebounds and dished out three assists.
The 60-point victory marks the largest victory in the Division I era. The last time the Pioneers posted a 50+ point win was in 1998 at NY Tech (122-57).
Zach Pfaffenberger (6), Quest Harris (2), Tommaso Ferraresi (2), Kasparas Jonauskas (5) and Matas Spokas (9) all scored their first baskets of the season.
The last time Sacred Heart posted 100+ points was in 2019 against Pine Manor, 101-57.
