- The last time both teams met was on December 19, 2019 at the John J. Lee Amphitheater in New Haven, Conn. Yale claim the victory against Sacred Heart, 87-40.
- Sacred Heart begins the season 2-0 for the first time since 2018.
- The Pioneers picked up a 71-46 victory over Brown in their home opener on Sunday. Sonia Smith led Sacred Heart in scoring for the second time this season with 22 points. Asia McCray and Olivia Tucker tallied 13 points apiece.
