Box Score LORETTO, Pa. – For the second-straight night the Sacred Heart University women's basketball team nearly pulled off a road victory in overtime. The Pioneers outscored St. Francis 21-12 in the fourth quarter to force the extra frame, but the Red Flash prevailed, 72-67.

Two nights in a row, Sacred Heart had a player surpass 30 points as Adrianne Hagood poured in a career-high 31 points thanks to 13-of-24 from the floor.
Sacred Heart trailed by as many as 11 points with a minute left in the third quarter. Hagood scored 11 points in the fourth quarter, including a layup with 18 seconds remaining to tie the game and send it into overtime.
A night after her own 31-point performance, Nikki Johnson made a layup with a minute left to knot the game, 67-67, in the extra frame. SHU wouldn't score the rest of the way and St. Francis made 5-of-6 free throws to seal the victory.
The biggest difference in the game came at the free throw line where the hosts made more free throws, 17-of-20, than the Pioneers took, 7-of-10.
Hagood scored 46 percent of Sacred Heart's points. Rookie Kelsey Wood just missed her second-straight double-double with eight points and 11 rebounds.
