Box Score BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — With the home-field advantage for the first time this season, the Sacred Heart baseball team dominated in the bottom of the seventh in its way to victory. The Pioneers used a six-run rally to secure a 10-4 victory over Fordham on Wednesday.

Of Note:
- SHU kick-started the scoring with Isiah Daubon's first solo home run of the season in the second inning. In the eighth, Daubon's ground out sent Elijah Brown home for his third run against the Rams.
- A pair home runs highlighted the six-run rally in the seventh, with Austin Markmann and Danny Glendon cranking the ball out the park.
- Markmann homered to left field which also sent Brown and Justin Jordan home.
- Glendon's first career homerun drove in Anthony Porrino, who got on with a single.
- An error by Fordham pitcher Ben Kovel alled Justin Levito to scored and started the scoring in the seventh inning.
- Sacred Heart played aggressively to get into scoring position with Brown stealing three bases that all were converted into runs.
- Left-hand Luke Hansen, who is credited for the win, threw 2 2/3 scoreless innings with a pair of strikeouts. Starter Jake McDowell threw three scoreless innings.
