- In the sixth, Austin Markmann put the final nail in the coffin with a single to second base allowing Justin Levito and Joey Skarad to score the eventual winning runs.
- SHU tallied three runs in the first inning, initiated by Markmann's double to right field sending Justin Jordan across the plate.
- The third inning also saw a trio of runs highlighted by Robert Farruggio's first-career homer over the left-field fence to also drive in Markmann.
- Danny Glendon's double drove Isiah Daubon home to extend the Pios lead to 7-3 in the fifth.
- Luke Hansen pitched for two innings in relief to pick up the victory with a single run and four strikeouts for his second win of the season.
- Closer Michael Attonito threw for 1.2 innings with one run and five strikeouts for his first career save.
