EMMITSBURG, Md. —  In the final contest of the series, the Sacred Heart University baseball team swept Mount St. Mary's with a 6-4 victory on Sunday.

Sacred Heart: 13-15, 8-4 NEC

Mount St. Mary's: 5-20, 1-11 NEC

Justin Jordan (SHU): 2-4, 1R, 1RBI

Robert Farruggio (SHU): 1-4, 1R, 1RBI 

Of Note:

• The Red and White put four on the board in the top of the fourth after three innings knotted at zero. Robert Farruggio and Justin Jordan's singles each drove in one, while Joe Emerson's base hit sent two over the plate.
• In the sixth inning, Isiah Daubon scored after a throwing error on a pickoff attempt added to the 5-0 lead.
• Ryan LaMay tallied his second win of the season after throwing 6.1 innings with three strikeouts.
• Brendan Coffey stepped on the mound in the seventh with one out to clean up the inning. The closer pitched a hitless 2.2 innings for his sixth save on the season.
