Of Note:
- The Pioneers tie their own record after going 17 innings for a 5-4 triumph against the current top team in league, Bryant, on May 11 2017.
- Trailing by two in the bottom of the ninth, the Pioneers managed to knot the score at seven and force extra innings. With bases loaded, Trevor Fagan's walk brought in Danny Glendon, followed by Justin Jordan's single to right field that allowed Joe Emerson to tally the tying run.
- The offense rode on the backs of Jordan's three RBIs and Emerson's pair of runs in the fifth and ninth innings.
- David Aufiero came in as relief in the eighth and restricted Wagner from adding to its lead. Brendan Coffey and Michael Attonito each threw for three scoreless innings, coming in the 10th and 13th, respectively.
