Box Score 2 SMITHFIELD, RI- Let's take two as the Sacred Heart University softball team took a pair of games from Bryant this afternoon winning 11-2 and 2-1.

Of Note
- Junior Alyssa Gonzalez was the highlight of the first game firing a pair of home runs to make her total to 16 on the year putting the Pioneers ahead 4-0 heading into the bottom of the third inning.
- The home runs kept coming as in the top of the fifth inning senior Kira Ferraiolo launched her fourth home run of the year this time in style with a grand slam to put SHU ahead 8-1.
- Then a couple of batters later, fellow senior Caroline Kruger would follow with a three-run home run to seal the 11-2 victory in five innings.
- Senior pitcher Colleen Walsh pitched a solid outing going all five innings allowing just two runs on three hits and striking out three batters.

Of Note
- While fewer runs were scored in game two, the Pioneers got on the board early with a sacrifice fly by junior Amy Petrovich scoring in Caroline Kruger from third to put the Pioneers ahead 1-0.
- Kruger would knock in the Pioneers' second run of the game coming in the top of the fourth inning scoring in Kira Ferraiolo to secure the 2-1 victory.
- In the circle, sophomore Olivia Vadas would pick up her fifth victory of the year going six innings allowing six hits, just one run, and striking out six batters.
