FAIRFIELD, Conn.— The Sacred Heart University men's soccer team played St. Francis Brooklyn to a 0-0 draw on Thursday.

Justin Siegel collected the fourth shutout of the season and sixth of his career. He now ranks sixth in the program in this category. The Ramsey, N.J. native also grabbed a season-high seven saves, becoming the 15th Pioneer in program history to grab 100 saves. Siegel earned his 100
th career stop overall at LIU on Sept. 30. The senior collected his first five saves of his collegiate career while playing at Muhlenberg College in 2019.
Six Pioneers notched one shot on target apiece. Sacred Heart had a chance to take the lead in the 85
th minute but Rob Taylor's shot was stopped by SFBK goalie Alec McLachlan.
The Pioneers also outshot the Terriers, 19-13, and led in corner kicks, 8-6.
Up next, Sacred Heart welcomes Stonehill to Park Avenue Field for Family Weekend on Sunday, with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m.
