Pioneers Capture High Point Team Title at Connecticut College

Lilly Bove and Julia Vinci qualified for IHSA Regional Championship

GALES FERRY, Conn.- The Sacred Heart University equestrian team cruised to a High Point Team title this morning taking first with 41 points at Connecticut College's Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Show on Saturday.

Of Note:

Juniors Lilly Bove and Julia Vinci each qualified for the IHSA Regional Championships in Open Flat and Novice Flat for the first time in their careers.
Bove placed second in Open Flat A and first in Open Fences A.
The Pioneers placed first in eight events as Lauren Radi, Alexa Setteducati, Ashley Bocek, Amanda Cosentino, Raegan Olson, Gia Matthews, Jordyn Defalco and Bove each tallied at least one first place finish.
This is fourth time this season the Pioneers were named the High Point team of the day.
