Petrillo, Palumbo and Bollentino come through with victories.

PROVIDENCE, RI – The regular season wrapped up Sunday for the Sacred Heart University men's wrestling team. The Pioneers dropped a 35-11 decision at Brown University.

SHU ends dual meet portion of the schedule with a 1-9 overall, 0-7 in the EIVA. Brown improved to 4-9, 3-7 in the league.

After Brown won the first bout, Anthony Petrillo came through with his second win in as many days, beating Nicky Cabanillas, 3-2, at 133 pounds.

Sacred Heart closed the gap to 14-11 thanks to back-to-back wins. At 157 pounds, Nick Palumbo came through with a 13-4 major decision against Jack Bokina. Ryan Bolletino followed with his own major decision, 13-5, over Keegan Rothrock at 165 pounds.

Unfortunately, the Bears won the last four bouts, including a trio of pins.

Up next for the Pioneers is the EIWA Championships, March 5-6, at Cornell University.
