Of Note:
Stony Brook brought home the first run of the game off a sacrifice fly to centerfield in the first inning.

An explosive five-run second inning ignited by Tyler Galletti's single to left field drove home Ryan Donnelly and Trevor Fagan. Joe Emerson's two-bagger to left center tallied three more as Galletti, McGuire and Jordan scored.

Two innings later, the Seawolves evened the score, 5-5, with a grand slam to left field.

The home team snatched a one-run lead in the fifth before Robert Farruggio knotted it at six with a groundball to send Dante D'amore across the plate in the next inning. On the following pitch, McGuire advanced to home to capitalize on Stony Brook's pitch in the dirt to put SHU up, 7-6.

D'amore's single to left field added two insurance runs in the seventh as Donnelly and George Sutherland score.

Coming in as relief in the third inning, Luke Hansen captured his first win of the season. The left-hander only allowed one run on two hits and struck out four batters in 3.1 innings of work. David Aufiero secured his first save this season for a no-hitter ninth inning.
