Tim McGuire crossed the plate breaking the 6-6 tie in the Sacred Heart University baseball team's, 9-6, victory at Stony Brook on Wednesday.

An explosive five-run second inning ignited by
Tyler Galletti's single to left field drove home
Ryan Donnelly and
Trevor Fagan.
Joe Emerson's two-bagger to left center tallied three more as Galletti, McGuire and Jordan scored.
Two innings later, the Seawolves evened the score, 5-5, with a grand slam to left field.Â
The home team snatched a one-run lead in the fifth before
Robert Farruggio knotted it at six with a groundball to send
Dante D'amore across the plate in the next inning. On the following pitch, McGuire advanced to home to capitalize on Stony Brook's pitch in the dirt to put SHU up, 7-6.
D'amore's single to left field added two insurance runs in the seventh as Donnelly and
George Sutherland score.
Coming in as relief in the third inning,
Luke Hansen captured his first win of the season. The left-hander only allowed one run on two hits and struck out four batters in 3.1 innings of work.
David Aufiero secured his first save this season for a no-hitter ninth inning.
