George Sutherland put the Sacred Heart University baseball team up by one run in the sixth inning, but it wasn't enough in a narrow 3-2 loss at Merrimack. The graduate transfer brought home
Sam Mongelli and
Ryan Donnelly in the first and sixth innings to grab the short lead for the Red & White on Sunday.

The Warriors opened the bottom of the sixth with a home run out of the right field to knot the game at two, followed by the winning run two batters later off a sacrifice fly to centerfield.
Mongelli leads the team with 13 runs scored on the season, followed by Donnelly in second with 12.
