Of Note:

Robert Farruggio singled to right field to bring Joe Emerson at home for the Pioneers' lone run in the ninth inning.

The Bulldogs snatched three runs across the second-fourth innings before concluding with two more in the eighth.

With eight stranded on base for the Red & White, the visitors had the opportunity to rally back with runners in scoring position in the sixth, seventh and ninth.

Typically on the mound, Nick Jaskolski made his debut in right field. The right-handed pitcher is no stranger to the outfield as he played in left field earlier this season at Richmond on February 26 and 27.
