Raegan Olson and Lilly Bove qualified for nationals

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass.- The Sacred Heart University equestrian team completed its competition at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Zone I Championships on Saturday.

Of Note:

Raegan Olson and Lilly Bove were the two Pioneers to advance to the IHSA National Championship which will take place in Harrisburg, Pa. from May 5-7.
Olson placed first in the individual limit fences to earn her a spot in nationals.
Meanwhile, Bove captured second in individual open flat which clinched her a ticket to nationals.
The Pioneers fell in the tiebreaker to the University of Vermont in the team competition holding them back from making nationals as a team.
The last time the Pioneers made nationals came in 2019 as the IHSA National Championship in 2020 and 2021 was canceled due to COVID-19.
