Maci Black notched back-to-back goals in the first five minutes of the contest before
Lydia Werlau registered a goal on the man-up for a 3-0 start. All four of Werlau's goals came in the Pioneers' first-half run.
The scoring slowed down in the second half as
Sydney Colesworthy and Black went on to get one more each in the third quarter. The Bison netted the final two goals of the game, and the lone goal of the fourth quarter.
Werlau led the Pioneers with four goals and notched a career-high three caused turnovers. Black registered her first hat trick and posted a career-high two assists and four caused turnovers. Colesworthy finished the game with two goals.
