Justin Levito put the Pioneers on the board with his first career home run in the third inning.

TRENTON, N.J. — In the first contest of a three-game series, the Sacred Heart University baseball team fell 10-2 at Wagner on Friday.

Of Note:
The Seahawks took a three-run lead across the first two innings before Justin Levito cut the deficit to two with his first career home run to left field in the third.

In the next frame, Dante D'amore's single to centerfield brought Joe Emerson home as the visitors trail 5-2.

Wagner kept the lead with eight more runs recorded across the third, fourth and sixth innings.

Levito led the team with two hits and a solo home run.

In his first season, D'amore has a four-game hitting streak where he has notched three runs and three RBIs.

The home team outhit Sacred Heart 18-7. The Seahawks stranded 11 and the Pioneers left eight.
