Of Note:
Midway through the third set of the Princeton match, the Pioneers flipped the switch. SHU took advantage of PU errors to go on a 6-1 run for a 17-14 lead.

Two Princeton miscues and a Jasmine Rogers kill allowed the Pioneers to swing the fourth set in their favor 22-20. Reghan Palanchi produced a pair of kills to help force a fifth set.

Another Rogers' kill staved off match point in the fifth set followed by a Brooke Jeffrey blocked that gave SHU the lead. Twice the Tigers held off the Pioneers, but a Sarah Ciszek kill, and Princeton error ended the match.

The Pioneers started the match by hitting .072 in the first two sets, but hit .260 in the final three sets, including .417 in set five.

Ciszek posted her third double-double with 36 assists, 13 kills and 10 digs. Rogers recorded a season-high 12 kills.

The Pioneers got out to a good start and set one, but allowed Seton Hall to grab the momentum. A Brooke Jeffrey kill and Pirates' error tied the set at 22-22, however the visitors finished on a 3-1 run.

In the third set the Pioneers found themselves down 22-18 before Kate Anderson came through with a kill. Ciszek produced back-to-back aces, but Seton Hall was able to win three-straight points to finish the match.

Sacred Heart could not slow down the Pirates' offense as the visitors hit .347, while SHU was limited to a .194 rate.

The rookie Jeffrey had the best game of her early career with a match-high 10 kills. Sacred Heart had a balanced attack with five players recording five or more kills.
