Four riders win individual events

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — For the second-straight weekend, the Sacred Heart University equestrian team won High Point Team in its third showing, defeating in-state rivals UConn and Fairfield by one point in its third Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) of the season.

The Pios had four riders win their events as Kelly Ernst and Sofia Greene placed top in Limit Flat Section B and Section A, respectively. In fences, Reagan Waggoner took home first in Intermediate Fences and Paige Sutton won Limit Fences Section B as the Red & White earned their third-consecutive win.
