
Pios Take Reserve High Point Team At Trinity Show

Albert earns first high point rider honor of the season
HARTFORD, Conn. — Nicole Albert's High Point Rider performance highlighted an eventful day for the Sacred Heart University equestrian team as it earned Reserve High Point Team honors in its final Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) show of the year on Sunday.
Albert was one of three Pioneers to win their respective events, earning the High Point Rider honor with a first-place showing in the Open Flat and a second-place finish in Open Fences. Molly McKegney took home first place in Limit Fences while Harley Jimenez rounded out the three top finishes with a first-place showing in Limit Flat.
Lauren Radi became the fifth Pioneer to qualify for IHSA regionals this season after her fourth-place showing in Open Fences. The Pios had three riders qualify last weekend during the UConn doubleheader which SHU earned High Point and Reserve High Point team honors.
