Ny'Ceara Pryor, who scored on a layup to give Sacred Heart the 64-60 lead.
But that was as far as the Pioneers could get in front, as the Warriors went on a 13-2 run to bring the game to its final score.
SHU had a 31-29 lead to start the second half but it was erased by eight unanswered points from Merrimack.
Pryor posted her 12
th 20+ point performance with 25 points. The guard also finished with nine rebounds, one board shy of a double-double, and seven assists that were one dish-out shy of matching her season high.
First year
Amelia Wood recorded a season-high 15 points and two blocks along with eight rebounds.
