Box Score WINCHENDON, Mass. – Carly Greene was 1.6 seconds from registering a shutout that would have given the Sacred Heart Women's Hockey Team a sweep of the best-of-three NEWHA Quarterfinal Series today at Jason Ritchie Ice Arena.

The sophomore from Minnetonka, Minn., was stopping everything that came her way until Franklin Pierce found the net with 1.6 seconds left in the third period. Greene finished off an outstanding performance with 39 saves, but the Ravens got the game-winner in overtime with 4:15 on the clock.

The Pioneers won the opener, 2-1, on Friday afternoon with 35 saves from Greene and goals from sophomore Anastasia Sloan and senior Sophie Lupone.

The winner-take-all game three is Sunday at 4 p.m., and then it's on to the conference semifinals.

After a scoreless first period and a second period that began with SHU killing off an advantage, the visitors grabbed a 1-0 lead. Senior Cassandra Nevers, who forced a turnover and took the puck up ice, scored her fifth of the year just 3:13 into the middle frame with an assist from Rachel DeLong.
