TRUMBULL, Conn.— The Sacred Heart University men's tennis team fell in its home opener to Hofstra, 6-1, on Sunday.
The Pride swept the Pioneers in doubles and followed up with five of six victories in singles.
Graduate student
Sebastian Colla posted SHU's only win. The Rosario, Argentina native lost the first set 6-3, before coming back to take the next two 7-5 and 10-8 to take down Kaita Odani.
Up next, the Pioneers open the conference slate on home court against LIU on Friday at 11 a.m.
