
SHU Dominates MAAC Academic Honor Roll

Men’s lacrosse and women’s rowing led all MAAC associate members.
EDISON, NJ -- The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced its 2022-23 MAAC Academic Honor Roll. The Sacred Heart University men's lacrosse and women's rowing teams had 67 student-athletes selected to the Academic Honor Roll. The Pioneers led all MAAC associate members as men's lacrosse had 40 athletes selected, and rowing had 27 placed on the honor roll.
To be eligible for the MAAC Academic Honor Roll a student-athlete must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Academic Honor Roll is open to full-time and associate members in the MAAC.
Men's lacrosse and rowing have dominated the MAAC academic honors this year. During the spring, both teams led the conference in All-Academic selections. Men's lacrosse had a strong showing with 30 honorees, while rowing was represented with 20 selections.
