Football Game Against Duquesne Scheduled to be Televised on ESPN+

NEC Unveils Football TV Package, Secures First-Ever National TV Linear Broadcasts

NORTHEAST CONFERENCE RELEASE

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - The Northeast Conference (NEC) announced today that the home Sacred Heart University football game scheduled on Oct. 28 against the Dukes of Duquesne University will be aired on ESPN+.
 
SHU has won five NEC titles over the last decade, while the Dukes have captured four conference crowns during that same time frame.

A few notes about the TV package:
• The schedule features the NEC's first-ever nationally televised linear games, with a pair of Thursday night contests airing on CBS Sports Network.
• The Oct. 7 and 28 matchups will air exclusively on ESPN+.
• The annual wildcard game will be flexed onto ESPN+ on either Nov. 11 or 18. This game will be nonexclusive and also stream on NEC Front Row.
• This marks the NEC's 11th consecutive year of televising football games on ESPN.
• Long-time play-by-play announcer Paul Dottino returns to the broadcast booth, alongside color analyst Kevin Gilbride, a two-time Super Bowl champion coach.
