Tristine and Prestipino place in top 20

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — The Sacred Heart University men's cross country team began the 2023 season placing fourth at the Marist College Invitational on Saturday morning. The Red & White secured fourth place with a team score of 115, finishing behind Iona, Siena and hosts Marist.

SHU had two top-20 finishes as graduate transfer Edward Tristine was the top performer for the Pios, earning a 10^th place finish with a time of 19:30.7. Sophomore Giovanni Prestipino finished second for the Pioneers with a time of 19:45.4.
