Box Score TRUMBULL, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University men's tennis team fell to Saint Francis on senior day Sunday evening, 4-3.

The Pioneers recognized Lefteri Aposolou and Adhurim Tetaj in the senior day ceremony prior to the match.
 
In doubles play, Mayas Vencl and Darius Efthekar secured the No. 2 singles win with a score of 6-3. After battling through a tie at No. 3, the Pioneers fell short 7-6 (6).
 
In singles play, Lefteri Apostolou secured the No. 1 singles win with a 6-3, 6-0 decision. Vencl secured his second win of the day at No. 2 singles battling through a 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 decision. Arya Alla battled through three at No. 5 coming out on top with a 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 decision. The match came down to No. 6 singles where the Paul Goncalves ultimately fell short after battling through three sets and two tie breakers.
