EDISON, N.J. – Sacred Heart men's tennis made its mark in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) this season, with
Paul Goncalves and
Antoine Hernandez earning All-MAAC Second Team Doubles honors, as announced by the conference office on Thursday morning.
Goncalves and Hernandez formed a reliable and competitive pairing at the top of the lineup, competing at both the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles positions throughout the year. The duo posted a 6-7 overall record and went 4-3 in conference play, standing out as one of the top tandems in the league.
Their recognition reflects a season of hard-fought matches and consistent performance in Sacred Heart's inaugural year in the MAAC. SHU secured a 2-6 conference record going 4-13 overall.
