SHU honored its 10-member senior class prior to opening draw

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University women's lacrosse team found offensive support from eight goal scorers, while its defense limited Saint Francis to 19 shots to secure the 14-5 home win over the Red Flash Saturday afternoon at Campus Field.

Before the opening draw, head coach Laura Korutz and the women's lacrosse team honored its 10-member senior clash – Megan Agrillo, Lindsay Boyle, Maggie Bruer, Colleen Harriman, Juliana Henry, Ellie Holt, Molly Mineo, Mae Morelli, Kelly Nolan, and Jenna Wilen – for their hard work and dedication to the program both on and off for the field of play.

Emma Kittredge led the Pioneers' attack, tallying her sixth hat trick of the season behind four goals, while Nolan finished with one goal and a team-high three assists for four points.

SHU's Lisa Martin stopped seven of the Red Flash's 12 shots on goal to earn the win between the pipes.
