FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University baseball team is excited to announce their upcoming 2025 schedule. The Pioneers will face a challenging slate of opponents and will play its first-ever Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). 

The Pioneers will play at total of 53 games including 10 three-game series against MAAC opponents. 22 games will be held at home at Veteran's Park.

The Pios' season kicks off on February 14^th with a road trip to Columbia, South Carolina, to face the South Carolina Gamecocks. The Pioneers spend some time in the DMV area for weekend series against Georgetown and Navy before returning north to face the University of Rhode Island for a midweek game.

MAAC play begins on March 7^th with a road series at Mount St. Mary's. The Pioneers will take on Yale for one last road game on Wednesday, March 12^th before playing at home.

The Pios open their home schedule against MAAC opponent, Saint Peter's, for a weekend series beginning March 14^th. 

SHU is home the entire month of May wrapping up the season with a MAAC series against Quinnipiac on May 15^th.

Key Highlights:

• Regular season concludes with a home series against Quinnipiac (May 15^th – 17^th)
