Day One of Quinnipiac Classic Halted Due to Rain

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University women's golf team started play at the Quinnipiac Classic on Monday, making it through nine holes before the event was halted due to inclement weather at the Farms Country Club in Wallingford, Conn.
The first round of event will pick back up tomorrow morning. At the conclusion of the first, the players will play the second and final round.
Nahia Paulerena leads the way for the Pioneers at in a tie for sixth at +1 through nine holes. Maite Cantu and Jade Haylock are next on the leaderboard at +4 and +5, respectively.
