POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Sophomore Ivan Morcillo scored his third and fourth goals of the season when the Sacred Heart Men's Soccer Team took down the region's 10th-ranked team, the Marist University Red Foxes in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play on Wednesday evening at Tenney Stadium.

How it Happened:
It was all Pioneers early in this one. In the 9th minute, sophomore Ivan Morcillo struck first off a great pass from fellow sophomore Brady Poor to make it 1–0.
Goalkeeper Luca Marinelli came up big in the 14th minute, making one of his three saves on a two-on-one Marist opportunity to keep the Pios in front.
Momentum swung fully in Sacred Heart's favor in the 39th minute when Marist's Aiden Arber was shown a red card, giving SHU a man-up advantage for the remainder of the match.
In the second half, the Pios capitalized. In the 64th minute, Morcillo struck again off a pass from senior captain David Garcia Gallego to extend the lead to 2–0.
In the 75th minute, junior Danny Istambouli found himself one-on-one with Marist goalkeeper Jaime Lowell and converted off another feed from Garcia Gallego sealing the 3–0 victory.
Sacred Heart led in total shots, 11–9, and in shots on goal, 4–3.
