REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – The Sacred Heart University women's golf team is in 10th place after the first two rounds of Delaware's Lady Blue Hen Invite, hosted Saturday at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, Del.
The Pioneers tallied a team score of 610 (+34) after rounds of 308 and 302 to sit in 10th place. Harvard leads the field at +8, just ahead of Georgetown and hosting Delaware at +10 and +11, respectively.
Garance Gueubel leads the way for SHU in a tie for 30th with a combined score of 151 (+7). After an opening round 79, the first year bounced back quickly with an even-par 72 in round two.
Nahia Paulerena and
Maite Cantu are next on the scoreboard for SHU in a tie for 40th. The duo both have a combined score of 153 (+9), with Cantu carding an even-par 72 in round one and Paulerena owning a two-over 74 in round two.
Jade Haylock,
Maegan Pungsuwan and
Morgan Withington rounded out the Pioneers' competitors today. Haylock led the trio in a tie for 51st, while Pungsuwan is tied for 57th and Withington is in 65th.
The Pios will conclude the fall slate of the 2025-26 season tomorrow with the third and final round of the Lady Blue Hen Invite.
