REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. –The Sacred Heart University women's golf team concluded the fall portion of its 2025-26 schedule on Sunday afternoon at the Lady Blue Hen Invite, finishing 10th at the event hosted by Delaware at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, Del.
The Pioneers placed 10th as a team with a combined score of 922 (+58). SHU tallied rounds of 308, 302 and 312. Hosting Delaware had a strong comeback to seal a win today, finishing with a score of 875 (+11). Georgetown (+19) took second, while Harvard and Dartmouth tied for third at +23.
Nahia Paulerena led the way for the Pioneers in a tie for 35th. The sophomore had the team's best round of the day, going 79, 74 and 75 for a combined score of 228 (+12).
Garance Gueubel finished next for SHU in a tie for 42nd. The first year from Belgium tallied a final score of 230 (+14) following rounds of 79, 72 and 79.
Maegan Pungsuwan,
Maite Cantu and
Jade Haylock all placed next to each other in T50th, T55th and T55th, respectively. Pungsuwan finished the event with a score of 235 (+19), while Cantu and Haylock wrapped up at 236 (+20). The Pios' final competitor was
Morgan Withington in 66th.
