NORTHPORT, N.Y. – The Sacred Heart University equestrian team delivered a statement performance on Saturday afternoon, powering to High Point Team honors at the NYU/Hofstra IHSA Show.
The Pioneers were dominant from start to finish, collecting 43 points to lead the field. SHU edged out Fairfield University and LIU, who finished tied for second with 38 points, with the most first-place ribbons.

Kylie Hwalek set the pace for the Pioneers, turning in flawless rides to claim first place in both Open Fences and Open Flat, earning her High Point Rider recognition.
