Bria Holm have been named New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) goaltender and athlete of the week.
Petruno earned her first conference nod of the season after an outstanding performance on Friday night. She made 45 saves, marking the second-highest single-game save total of her career. Allowing just one goal, she posted a remarkable .978 save percentage to propel the Pioneers to a 3-1 road victory.
Holm earned her first conference nod of her career after posting an impressive stat line across the weekend series. On Friday night, Holm netted a clutch goal to give the Pioneers a 2-1 lead, which stood as the game-winner. Across the two games, she registered seven shots and three blocked shots, showcasing her impact on both ends of the ice as a dynamic two-way player.
The Pioneers are back in action this weekend as they open NEWHA conference play with a two-game home series against Franklin Pierce.
