Women's Cross Country Finishes 25th at the Northeast Regionals

Grace Sousa leads the way
Hopkinton, N.H. – The Sacred Heart University women's cross-country team placed 25th out of 37 teams at the Northeast Regional Cross Country Championships on Friday morning.
Graduate runner Grace Sousa led the way for the Pioneers, finishing 65th overall. First year Alivia Schweibinz finished 121st overall. She was the second Pioneer to finish the race.
Grace Del Giorno and Adriana Franzese also finished strong enough to earn top 200 finishes. Del Giorno placed 159th, and Franzese placed 185th.
Emma Daley, Gabriella DeVito, and Ryann Walsh also scored valuable points for the Pioneers. Daley finished 210th overall, DeVito finished 214th, and Walsh finished 217th.
