EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. - The Sacred Heart University women's wrestling team delivered a commanding performance at the ESU Warrior Duals on Sunday afternoon at East Stroudsburg, earning second place with five wins in six dual matches.

- The Pioneers' only loss came in their second dual of the day against first-place Lehigh, falling 31–12, but the day was defined by SHU's depth, resilience, and balanced contributions across the lineup.
- Sacred Heart opened the day with a strong 37–8 victory over Marymount before facing Lehigh. Despite the 31–12 setback, the Pioneers quickly rebounded, defeating Elmira 34–12, New England College 47–0, Liberty 43–5, and host East Stroudsburg 36–10.
- Aalyiah Payne-Parris led the charge for the Pioneers, dominating the mat with a perfect 6-0 record on the afternoon!
- The upper weights were equally impressive, as Love Daley (160), Madeline Hodges (180), and Josephine Larson (207) all turned in powerhouse performances, each finishing 5-1.
- Meanwhile, Lauren Nguyen, Bella Sowards, and Alena Gracia fueled the middleweights with four hard-fought victories apiece, helping Sacred Heart rack up points and maintain momentum throughout the day.
- Along with Payne-Parris, Samantha Yap also went undefeated on the day, finishing with an overall mark of 2-0.
