Men’s Wrestling Battles Hard at Journeyman Collegiate Classic

Iannucci and Mann Earn First Division I Wins

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Sacred Heart University men's wrestling team continued its early-season campaign with a strong showing at the Journeyman Collegiate Classic on Sunday afternoon at Freedom High School, going head-to-head with some of the nation's top programs.

Of Note:
  • The Pioneers saw several standout performances across weight classes, highlighted by Corey Iannucci and Anthony Mann, who each earned their first Division I victories in their respective brackets. 
  • Iannucci battled through a competitive 125-pound field to post a 1-2 mark on the day, while Mann powered his way to a win in the 157-pound division to record his first collegiate triumph in Division I action.
  • Sacred Heart also saw hard-fought efforts from Anthony Clem (133 lbs), Anthony Cadicina (141 lbs), Connor MacDonald (149 lbs), Nolan Hook (157 lbs), Nick Franzen (165 lbs), and Kevin Taylor (197 lbs), each earning victories in their brackets as the Pioneers showcased depth and resilience across the lineup.
