Pioneers Fall 6-4 in NCEA meet
HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. - It was another strong showing for the No. 5 ranked Sacred Heart equestrian team on Saturday against Centenary. A pair of Pioneers – Kylie Hwalek in Fences and Emma Grimes in Flat - earned Most Outstanding Player honors. Hwalek scored an 88 on her ride on Capri, while Grimes scored a 79 riding Ollie.
Sacred Heart led 3-2 at halftime but Centenary came away with a 6-4 victory.
Hwalek (score of 88), Grimes (83) and Rebecca Skelton (83) earned the Pioneers points in Fences.
Grimes with her score of 79 accounted for Sacred Heart's point in Flat.

Sacred Heart plays its final regular season NCEA meet against fourth-ranked College of Charleston on Feb. 8 in South Carolina.
