LAST TIME OUT
The Pioneers split a home doubleheader against Stony Brook on Tuesday at Pioneer Park, taking the first game 1-0 before falling 8-0 in game two. Carah Sweet threw a gem in the opening contest on Tuesday, earning her first complete-game shutout with four strikeouts. Morgan Teodosio tallied the bout's only run with a solo homer in the fifth inning. The Seawolves' offense came alive in the nightcap, scoring runs in the first, second and third frames to secure a five-inning win.

BREAKOUT SEASON FOR MORGAN
Through 24 games this season, Teodosio is having a breakout year for the Pioneers. The senior captain has already set new career highs with 12 runs, 11 RBIs and three home runs this season. She has tallied a hit in each of the Pioneers' last five wins and leads the team with a .518 slugging percentage.

SCOUTING NIAGARA
The Purple Eagles are struggling heading into this weekend's series, riding an 11-game losing streak and owning a 2-12 overall record. Niagara joins Canisius as the only two MAAC schools that are starting league play this weekend, as everyone else began last week. The Purple Eagles have five players hitting over .300 heading into the weekend, led by graduate infielder Shayna Myshrall at .375. Senior utility player Lindsay Mayo has also been one of the team's best hitters, as she paces Niagara with eight RBIs, three home runs and four doubles. Purple Eagles rank last in the circle in the MAAC with a 9.55 team ERA.
