TRUMBULL, Conn. - The Sacred Heart women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to MAAC leader Quinnipiac at the Tennis Club of Trumbull.
Hana Hofmanova earned SHU's point with a straight sets victory at No. 4 singles. Three sets were needed in two singles matches, but unfortunately for Sacred Heart, the Bobcats won each.
In doubles, the Pioneers got a 6-2 win from
Olivia Zuba and
Malena del Olmo, but Quinnipiac earned the point with victories in the other two matches.
