Metrics Up From a Year Ago
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Sacred Heart University varsity athletes continue to be prolific off the field in 2024-25. The final grade point averages just came in, and SHU's overall student-athlete average for the academic year was 3.52.
There are 1,221 varsity athletes and 207 of them had 4.0 semesters at some time during this academic year. The SHU Dean's List included 623 athletes, while almost every team averaged better than 3.0 per semester.
Equally significant is the news that academic metrics have risen since last spring. Here are the quick facts on that:
